Marion Street Bridge In Natick Closed For Several Weeks

The bridge is closed so that gas utility work and remaining construction activities can be completed.

NATICK, MAβ€”Starting on Monday, May 21, the Marion Street Bridge in Natick is closed for several weeks, with the exception of Sundays and some Saturdays.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that the bridge is closed to motor vehicles five, and in some cases, six days a week, for several weeks, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., so that gas utility work and remaining construction activities can be completed.

The daytime bridge closure is in effect Monday through Friday, and possibly on some Saturdays, during the spring season.

Detours are in place for motor vehicles during these daytime work hours but pedestrians will continue to have access across the bridge.

MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of potential traffic impacts in the general area of the Marion Street Bridge. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
