Martial Arts Raises Funds for Relay for Life
Villari's Martial Arts in Natick used a demonstration to raise funds to help fight cancer.
Students at Villari's Martial Arts performed a demonstration using swords, quarterstaves and sparring routines to raise funds for the Relay for Life on Saturday.Â
The event raised $6,000 last year for the Relay for Life by selling tickets to a variety of activities hosted at Villari's on Saturday including face painting and foam sword fighting.Â
"There are so many people affected by cancer and we want to do everything we can to support the relay," Mark Lehman, owner of Villari's said. Â
