MathWorks Looks To Expand Natick Campus
Documents filed with the Natick Planning Board show the beginning of a plan to expand the company's Lakeside campus.

NATICK, MA — MathWorks is looking to expand its already sizable presence in Natick, and documents filed with the Planning Board outline some of the proposed additions.
MathWorks has two Natick campuses — Lakeside and Apple Hill — but has recently begun plans to add more office space at Lakeside.
Documents — which can be seen here — show that MathWorks officials are looking to modify a previously approved site plan to allow for the construction of a fourth interconnected office building at the campus at 1 Lakeside Campus Drive.

This new addition would also include updates to parking, circulation, landscaping and stormwater improvements.
According to the company, MathWorks employs more than 3,000 people across the two Natick campuses.

MathWorks has been a fixture in Natick for years, which includes enlisting a number of green initiatives between the two campuses and also awarding two $10,000 grants to two high-achieving Natick students planning to study math and science through its annual scholarship program.
The company's application for expansion also includes letters of support from the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce and MetroWest Regional Transit Authority.
