MetroWest Medical Center Bids Farewell To Cecchi After 45 Years
After more than four decades at MetroWest Medical Center, Barbara Cecchi is retiring.
News release from MetroWest Medical Center.
For the past 45 years, Barbara Cecchi, RN, BSN, Manager of Case Management, has warmed the hearts of many patients and coworkers along her career journey at both Leonard Morse Hospital (LMH) and Framingham Union Hospital (FUH). Barbara started at LMH as an ICU nurse and then became involved with case management at both hospitals, eventfully landing her most recent position as Manager of Case Management, which she has held for the last five years. She has been in various roles related to case management for about 30 years.
Barbara’s final day at the hospital was April 12 as she enters into retirement. She looks forward to spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren as well as taking small trips with her husband. And with the spring weather approaching, she cannot wait to get outside to go bike riding and walking on trails. She also will enjoy reading and getting back into sewing during her newfound time.
