1. Average MA Home Prices Rose Again In October: What About In Natick? (patch.com) — Natick homeowners and buyers are seeing a hotter market than the state overall, with October home sales up and the median sale price topping $1 million for the month. Year-to-date, Natick prices have risen about 8 percent to $980,000, outpacing statewide gains as Massachusetts and Greater Boston both experience modest growth in sales and prices.

Colin Walsh's hat trick lifts Framingham boys hockey over Natick in season opener (video) (masslive.com) — Natick High’s boys hockey team fell 4-2 to rival Framingham after holding a third-period lead, with Colin Walsh netting a late hat trick to flip the result. The game, played Wednesday night, marked Framingham coach Adam Aguilar’s first win over Natick and continued the intense, physical rivalry between the neighboring towns’ programs.
