Monday Essentials: Plan Ahead for Annual Natick Days Event

The 15th annual Natick Days will be held on Sept. 21 on the Common from from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Started on Sept. 4, 1999, Natick Days is a way for local teenagers and nonprofits to earn funds in a festive atmosphere full of entertainment.

This year, more than 100 groups will gather to increase awareness about their causes, raise funds, and entertain visitors. 

Scheduled activities include:

• Obstacle courses;
• Decorating bicycle helmets;
• A duck race with gutters and soaker water guns;
• Firetrucks for kids to explore;
• An organized helmet-painting event by the Natick Police Department.

There will also be food available for purchase.
