A $5,000 grant from the MutualOne Charitable Foundation will enable the Natick Service Council’s food pantry to better address the need for improved nutritional and heart health among economically disadvantaged residents.
The award will be used to increase the amount of heart-healthy foods distributed to food pantry clients, according to Greg Tutuny, executive director of the Natick Service Council.
The donation brings to $8,500 the total amount granted to the food pantry by the MutualOne Charitable Foundation over the past three years.
