Natick Admin Finalist For Norwood General Manager Opening
Finalist interviews will be held Saturday morning.

NATICK, MA — The three finalists for the Norwood General Manager position were announced at the town's Monday night's selectmen meeting, and they include Natick Deputy Town Administrator William Chenard. The other finalists are Norfolk Town Administrator Jack Hathaway, and Adams Town Administrator Tony Mazzucco. One of them will succeed long-time general manager John Carroll.
The three were chosen from a field of 28 applicants, according to Bernard Lynch of Community Paradigm Associates. Of the 28, 25 had what were considered to be good resumes and eight of those 25 were chosen as semi-finalists. A total of seven semi-finalist interviews were conducted by a screening committee after one candidate withdrew their name.
Lynch noted that the market for town managers is tough because many are reaching retirement age and not looking to move.
