NATICK, MA — Precisionary Instruments is readying to move its headquarters to Ashland.
Land records confirm that the company executed a lease on April 28 for land and buildings located at 200 Butterfield Drive in Ashland, specifically units E and F on the property. The lease is for a 26-year period which began on April 28.
Precisionary Instruments intends to use the building as its headquarters, signaling a move out of Natick.

The Butterfield Drive property is located off Route 126 in Ashland roughly four miles off of Mass Pike from the Route 30 Natick exit, according to a property listing from R.W. Holmes Commercial Real Estate.
It features 12,000 square feet with 30 percent used for office space and the remaining 70 percent used for warehouse space.

The company's current headquarters are located at 207 Union Street, Suite 2, in Natick.
Precisionary Instruments specializes in microtomes, which are cutting tools used in the medical field for slicing sections of tissue. The company was founded by Dr. Jian-Qiang Kong in 2004.
