Natick Bookstore Reopens In New Location

It took a little help from the community, who helped move 8,000 books across Main Street to the new space.

NATICK, MA — Ten Trees Books, the independent Natick bookstore, has reopened in its new location as of last weekend.

Now located at 29 N. Main St., the bookstore has returned to its normal operating hours, officials said.

Ownership gave credit to the local community, who recently helped move 8,000 books from the old location to the new one across Main Street as part of a Sunday book brigade.

"Our team, customers, neighbors, local authors, and the support of the Natick Police, made it possible to move all of the books from the Hive to our new home across the street," officials said. "We started this bookstore in the hopes of creating a space to foster community. This was a beautiful reminder of that seed that was planted, and now we see our roots strengthening in our community with all of you."

The new space has two floors, with the lower level set for events like book clubs, author talks and more.
