Natick Dog Shelter Receives $1,500 Grant

All Dog Rescue, a Natick animal shelter, announced Wednesday it received $1,500 in grants from the Massachusetts Animal Coalition through the sale of specialty “I am Animal Friendly” license plates across the state.

"The grant will be used towards All Dog Rescue’s spay and neuter services," the shelter said in a press release. "We are also dedicated to reducing the pet overpopulation problem in Massachusetts by spaying or neutering every dog that passes through our organization."

The shelter relies on grants and adopter donations for medical treatment for its animals. Since its inception in 2003, the shelter has facilitated the rescue of more than 500 dogs. 

"ADR is very grateful for the grant from the Massachusetts Animal Coalition; this is the second year in row that we have received the grant," Ronit Furman, Fundraising and Grant Coordinator of All Dog Rescue said.
