Natick Girls Soccer Advances To MIAA Division 1 State Championship

The Redhawks will ride a 5-2 semifinal victory into a Saturday championship game against Bishop Feehan.

NATICK, MA — The Natick Redhawks are heading back to the MIAA Divison 1 state finals.

Natick High School's girls soccer team will ride a 5-2 victory over Brookline into the state championship game, which will see the one-seed Redhawks face two-seed Bishop Feehan in a rematch of last year's quarterfinal matchup.

In the semifinal matchup, Cassidy Moriarty led the team to victory, scoring two goals and assisting on a third.

Natick finished the year at 16-1-1, and has defeated Weymouth, Boston Latin and Concord-Carlisle on the way to the semifinal.

The championship game will be played on Saturday, with the venue and time to be determined.
