Natick High Schooler Competing In National Curling Championships

Addison Neill, a Natick resident, will compete with three other local curlers at the USA U18 curling championships in Colorado this weekend.

NATICK, MA — A local high schooler is set to compete with the best teenage curlers in America during the U18 national tournament happening in Colorado this weekend.

Addison Neill, a Natick High School sophomore, and three other local curlers qualified for the tournament at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, Colorado.

Neill is joined by Julia Pekowitz, Kailey Price and Alexa Pekowitz in the tournament after earning an at-large bid.

“Any time we can host an important event like the U18 National Championship, we do our best to make the event feel special and run as smoothly as possible,” said Sean Stevinson, co-owner of Rock Creek Curling.

“Competing in a national championship is a great accomplishment for these athletes, and we’re very excited to have the future of our sport competing here at Rock Creek Curling.”
