The class will honor the work of public safety personnel, have a discussion panel about the events of that day, and celebrate and study Phillipe Petit's historic tightrope walk between the WTC towers in 1974.

There will be two physical stations in which students will participate - a Natick police obstacle course, and another station where students will be carrying a fire hose upstairs to appreciate the physical fitness needed by firefighters.

As part of the second station, students will replicate Petit's stringing, and walking on his tightrope (on the ground).

A third station will be a discussion panel, and a fourth station will have students viewing clips from the documentary, Man on Wire.
