Kaycha Labs and the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission agreed to a new two-year contract with the option for additional renewals.
NATICK, MA — A Natick cannabis testing lab was awarded a new contract from the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission to serve as the state's official testing lab.
A news release said Kaycha Labs will "serve as an official testing laboratory for cannabis, cannabis products, and related devices across the Commonwealth."
Under the terms of the agreement, Kaycha Labs’ Natick facility will test samples to identify cannabinoid profiles, biological contaminants (such as microbials and mycotoxins), chemical contaminants (such as pesticides, solvents, and heavy metals) and the presence of unauthorized additives, officials said.
