The town has partnered with ClearGov to launch this infographic-based fiscal transparency center

NATICK, MA—Natick announced this week that it has partnered with ClearGov, a leading municipal transparency and benchmarking platform, to launch an infographic-based fiscal transparency center.

This new tool provides taxpayers an easy-to-understand, visual breakdown of Natick’s finances, as well as insights into the town’s demographics, according to the announcement. Townspeople can also check how Natick's budget items compare to neighboring communities.

The town joins a growing number of Massachusetts municipalities that are taking transparency to a new level on the ClearGov platform. Natick has added detailed revenue and expenditure breakdowns of its general fund data and has also added information regarding the town’s debt.

According to the announcement, the administration’s goal is to provide the public with the necessary financial insights into the Town’s budget, expenditures, and revenues, as well as key financial projects that the Town is undertaking. The financial transparency page will be an additional resource that the public and Town Meeting Members can utilize to make informed decisions with respect to Town Meeting Articles.
