Natick Man Faces Drug Trafficking Charges

A 28-year-old Natick man faces charges after he was found in possession of cocaine and fentanyl in Hudson, Mass.

HUDSON, MA — A Natick man faces drug trafficking and possession charges after a traffic stop in Hudson, local police said.

Oliver Aylward, 28, of Natick, is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl and motor vehicle violations, Hudson police said.

At about 4:45 p.m. on May 29, Hudson police were dispatched to the area of Pope Street looking for a vehicle "being operated erratically." It was also reported the operator appeared to be impaired, police said.

Officers eventually found the vehicle traveling away from the reported location and heading toward Main Street. Officers observed violations and conducted a traffic stop, officials said.

While conducting the stop, officers observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and subsequently had Aylward step out of the car.

During the investigation and a further search of Aylward and his vehicle, officers discovered items to use drugs, a scale, over two grams of fentanyl, 24 grams of cocaine and $2,300 dollars in cash.

Aylward was arraigned in Marlborough District Court on the charges.
