Natick Native Honored by Celtics as 'Hero Among Us'
The Natick resident has raised more than $80,000 to fight Huntington's Disease.

NATICK, MA — A Natick native receives honors at the Boston Celtics game on Friday, Dec. 9, as a "Hero Among Us."
Seth Rotberg raised more than $80,000 for nonprofits that support finding a cure for Huntington’s Disease. Rotberg's mother died from the disease, and he has also has been diagnosed.
Massachusetts State Lottery is joining the Celtics to honor Rotberg at the game, at which Boston faces off against the Toronto Raptors.

"Despite testing positive, Seth has faced his prognosis with unwavering strength and dedicated his life to helping others living with the disease," said a spokesperson for the event in an announcement. Through fundraisers and events for young people affected by Huntington’s Disease, Seth has raised more than $80,000 for nonprofits supporting research and care. Last year Seth received the Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s Youth of Year Award for his efforts to promote awareness."
