Natick Students Win Visual Arts Prizes

Three visual artists will be among students recognized for their achievements at tonight's School Committee Meeting.

Three students were highlighted for their achievements in the visual arts recently, according to information provided to the School Committee.

Natick High School Sophomore Dan Kincaid won a Gold Key and a Silver Key for the Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition. He won for two pieces he created in Commercial Art class. This new class is taught by Angela Ruo.

Senior Zachary Melisi won 1st place at the Arisia Student Art show. Arisia is an annual science fiction convention held in Boston.

Victoria Zulke received an honorable mention in ceramics for the Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition.
