Natick's Cochituate State Park Beach Opening For 2024 Summer Season
Memorial Day weekend is almost here, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation will open beaches starting Friday.
NATICK, MA — Memorial Day weekend is almost upon us and, as a sign that winter is truly — finally — over, beaches across the state will start opening.
The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation announced this week that, starting Friday, the department-controlled beaches will begin to open. This includes the beach at Natick's Cochituate State Park.
The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Also starting Friday, a daily parking fee will be in effect.

The rate for Massachusetts residents is $8 while out-of-state residents pay $30. Mobile payments can be made through the app found at this link.
As payments return, dogs get the boot, as pups aren't allowed on beaches as of May 1. The policy runs through Sept. 15.
