Natick's Culinary Delights Featured on Phantom Gourmet

The Chicago-style food store in Natick was put in the Phantom's spotlight on Superbowl Sunday.

NATICK, MA -- Back in October of 2012, just four months after Culinary Delights expanded its homestyle European prepared foods to include Spalla’s Chicago style menu items, the Phantom Gourmet visited.

“We followed up with them several times and they said they have a long list of features to produce, but that we ’were on their radar,’ said owner Cara Spalla.

The radar beam hit down on the Natick store three years later, when owners got an email from Phantom producers in October of 2015 asking if they could shoot a segment to air in the upcoming season. Not only did it air, it aired on Superbowl Sunday, a prime night for indulgent foodies.

“Though we’ve been ranked No on Yelp in Natick for more than two years,” said Spalla, ”most people who live in Natick don’t look at Yelp for Natick. As a result, we’re still relatively unknown in our own town! Luckily, people moving into the area look at Yelp to learn what’s around, so we get a lot of newcomers. It would be great to re-introduce Natick to Culinary Delights, which has been open since December 2003!”
