Natick's Puttshack Runs Fundraising For Autism Acceptance Month

Proceeds from 9-hole mini golf bookings at locations across the country will be donated to KultureCity through April 30.

NATICK, MA — April is Autism Acceptance Month and, thanks to some mini golf enthusiasts in Natick, a nonprofit will get an extra boost to funding.

Puttshack, which has a location in Natick, will be donating 20 percent of each nine holf mini golf bookings to KultureCity through April 30 as part of a fundraiser honoring Autism Acceptance Month.

KultureCity is an Alabama-based nonprofit "dedicated to promoting accessibility and inclusion for individuals with sensory processing needs."

To ensure the funds get donated, bookings must be made through the link here.

"With one in four individuals in the U.S. living with a sensory processing need or invisible disability, Puttshack recognized an opportunity to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone," Puttshack officials said in a statement.

All 16 Puttshack locations have earned the Sensory Inclusive certification from KultureCity and, as part of the certification, offer sensory bags at those locations.

“We welcome everyone in to play at Puttshack, and we are thrilled to continue to create inclusive spaces that are enjoyable for our guests with all abilities,” says Susan Walmesley, Puttshack CMO/COO. “It’s important that social entertainment spaces such as ours continue to evolve in accessibility so anyone can have fun, together.”
