Natick's Troy Flutie to be Spotlighted by SI

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. Senior Troy Flutie will appear in the Nov 11 issue of Sports Illustrated in the "Faces in the Crowd" column, NHS Athletic Director Tim Collins announced on his Twitter page.

2. The following local residents were among more than 1,080 students from Roger Williams University to receive their degrees as part of the Class of 2013.
  • Brett Collins, a resident of Natick, received a Bachelor of Science;
  • Andrew Collinson, a resident of Natick, received a Bachelor of Science.
3. Veterans' Day Spirit Day is Nov. 8. Natick students are encouraged to 8.  wear red, white, and blue. Please donate loose change for a Veterans' charity. Boy and Girl Scouts are asked to bring their uniforms for a special flag ceremony.

4. In case you missed it: Building 19 Plans to Close by Dec. 8.
