Our wonderful museum space has recently become even more beautiful! John I Murphy & Co recently designed and installed a set of custom-made cabinets in the museum. The cabinets sit above the original 19th-century display cabinets and will be used to store small objects and cleaning and archival supplies.

We at the NHS are delighted with the look of the cabinets and we know that they will make the museum a more welcoming and open space. As board member Fran Weisse stated: “The cabinets fit in seamlessly: a visitor new to the museum would never realize that they weren’t original.”
Board member Jan Parsons adds: “We are thrilled with our additional cabinets. They will protect our valued artifacts, while providing much needed storage at the museum for our consolidated collection.”
