New Natick Dining Concept Coming To Shuttered Anthony's Pizza Space
The new company offers a unique pitch: Order some of the best food from across the country at home in the MetroWest.
NATICK, MA — A new food business is set to launch its Massachusetts operation in Natick.
Wonder, a "fast fine" dining brand, has locations in New England, including in East Providence, Rhode Island, and across eight other states.
The Natick location is set to take over the closed Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza space on 219 N. Main St. The regional pizza chain closed its doors in September 2024 after it had shifted to a take-out only model for the last period of its operations.

Wonder was founded in 2018 by Marc Lore, whose resume includes stints with Walmart's eCommerce arm and Jet.com.
The company's elevator pitch is that it's a "new kind of food hall", stating that it partners with restaurants and chefs from across the world and allows people in various locations to try that food.

Take, for instance, the East Providence pickup location.
Say one local editor who used to write for a publication in Atlanta wanted a taste of his favorite cheesesteak from Fred's Meat and Bread. He could order that cheesesteak from Wonder and pick it up at that location.
Options vary, however, from soul food to Texas-style barbecue to pad Thai.
No opening date has yet to be announced from company officials, but Wonder has filed plans with Natick's building department, stating it plans to put in over $800,000 in renovations to the former Anthony's space.
