New Natick Patch Editor Knows Natick Well

Native Robert Fucci takes over the reigns of his hometown Patch.

It's funny how things just happen.

Three years ago when I was being recruited to join this startup company called Patch.com, I was asked to launch Natick Patch. How great was that? I was going to be the editor for my hometown.

But when all was said and done, I was instead asked to launch Sudbury, where I've been since. And now, here I am, where I was first asked to work.

Hi everyone. My name is Robert Fucci and I'm your new editor for Natick Patch. Some of you who are regular readers of Natick Patch already know me, as I am a member of the Natick High class of 1988 (yes, that's 25 years ago).

My roots here are pretty deep. I can remember when the old Natick Pizza Palace was in the lot that now houses the police and fire departments on East Central ($2 for a small cheese pizza back then). I used to bowl at Kemp's when it was next to Agostino's Restaurant. And as kid I used to love walking down Pond Street to Moe's, the neighborhood candy store.

Although I'm a native of Natick, my wife, Lesley, daughter, Alexa, and IΒ live in Framingham. This makes it perfect for me as I am still keeping my responsibilities as the Sudbury Patch editor.

My plan this week is to make the rounds and get acquainted with those who I will be speaking with most often (police department, fire department, schools, etc.).

In the meantime, if you know of a good story that hasn't been told, contact me at 978-478-8358 or Robert.Fucci@patch.com.

If you need assistance posting an event to our calendar or an announcement to one of our Boards, you can contactΒ Brooklyn Lowery, my calendar editor, at 508-344-7464 or Brooklyn.Lowery@patch.com.Β

Thanks, Natick ... it's good to be back home!
