Route 9 Closures Coming Up In Natick

Drivers, take note. There's work coming up for a spell on Route 9 in Natick.

NATICK, MA—Drivers, take note. There's a bit of an issue on Route 9 coming up.

Beginning Monday, April 2, and occurring nightly throughout spring 2018, there is an overnight lane closure on Route 9 east and westbound in Natick in the area of the intersection with Kingsbury Street.

These single-lane closures will be in place each night between the off-peak hours of 8 p.m., and 5 a.m., and will allow crews and contractors to safely and effectively conduct guardrail installation and intersection improvements.

MassDOT encourages drivers to be mindful of these potential impacts, said the announcement. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution. The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
