What made you decide to open this type of business? And why this location? After helping several companies achieve dramatic growth results as an employee I wanted to help even more companies to achieve their full growth potential. So I started Langevin Management Advisors. That has proven to be the right decision for my business and for my many clients. While my business is located in Natick, my clients have been local, national and even international.
What do you like best about it? I enjoy the challenge of helping a company that I may not know very much about, quickly assessing their business situation, developing a growth strategy for them and then helping the company to achieve results they never imagined possible. I have led a technology company to grow from $0.5M to $14M in sales in one year; a solar company from $0.6M to $3.8M in two years; a payroll services company from $0.7M to $2.1M in one year. These were results that the business owners did not even imagine were possible. By working together and bringing a fresh perspective to their business, I was able to help them to achieve these dramatic results.

Biggest challenge? Convincing business owners that I can help grow their business when they claim that I don’t know their business. While I may not yet know their business, I know about business and how to grow a business. I invite them to review the success stories on my website to see the results that I have delivered for companies in a variety of industries. I also offer a free consultation to discuss their requirements and discuss how I can assist them before they decide to ask for my assistance.
What do you see for the future? The business world is changing rapidly. A company is often its own greatest impediment to growth. Companies frequently continue to do business the same way they have always done it, yet the business world and competition are changing quickly. For example, taxi services operated in every major city for decades. Yet in only a matter of a few years this industry has become dominated by a startup called Uber. Not being an expert in a client’s business is my greatest asset because I can introduce innovative, new ideas that will grow their business.
What makes your business unique? We are able to help grow virtually any business.
What advice would you give business owners? Seek advice from others. Running a business is more than a fulltime job. Are you running your business, or is your business running you? As a business owner myself, I know that we often don’t have time to stop and think about how to grow our business. We are often overcome by day-to-day issues that demand our attention. What made your business a success yesterday, may not keep your business a success tomorrow. Seek the advice others to help you and your business achieve your full potential. Don’t let your business become a taxi service in an Uber world.
