TCAN Players Production of “Enchanted April” Opens in Natick
The show opens Mar. 3 and runs for 7 shows through Mar. 12. Tickets are on sale now at the box office.

From TCAN: What do 4 upper middle class ladies of English society have in common and why do they all want to escape to the same place? Find out in the TCAN Players’ production of Matthew Barber’s Tony Nominated play, “Enchanted April,” which opens at The Center for Arts in Natick on March 3.
This production is directed by Wellesley resident Kevin Groppe making his directorial debut with the TCAN Players with their upcoming production of Enchanted April. Kevin is the recently retired head of the performing Arts department at Dana Hall School. When not working on a show, Kevin enjoys long distance swimming.
This delightful romantic comedy, based on the novel of the same name, is set in 1922 and tells the story of two bored London housewives who plan an escape to the Mediterranean and recruit two upper-class women (and relative strangers) to split the cost of a rented villa with them. Sparks fly between the very different personalities, but among the wisteria blossoms, the women rediscover themselves and their marriages along the way.
“Enchanted April” is a 2003 Tony Award Nominee for Best Play
The production is directed by Kevin Groppe and is sponsored by MutualOne Bank. Friday’s opening night audience is invited to a reception immediately following the performance.
