West Nile Virus Found In Natick Mosquitoes
Spraying was scheduled for this week after testing came back positive for the virus. No humans have tested positive, however.
NATICK, MA — West Nile Virus has been detected in Natick, but town officials said the risk level remains low.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health this week reported that the virus was detected in a collection of mosquitoes in Natick. That collection was taken in the Route 135-Union Street to Woodland Street area of town, officials said.
The risk level remains low, however, and no humans have tested positive.

Spraying was scheduled for Thursday, which was conducted by the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project.
Nearby, Wayland also found West Nile Virus in a test collection, and Framingham has raised its risk level to moderate.
