Winning Natick Lottery Ticket Will Expire Soon
The ticket secured the winner $25,000 a year for life. The problem? No winner has stepped forward to claim the ticket.
NATICK, MA — What would you do with an extra $25,000 a year for the rest of your life?
If you bought a "Lucky for Life" lottery ticket from J Convenience Store in May 2023, you should not only be asking yourself that question, but also ask if you still have that ticket.
Last year, someone bought a winning ticket from the store, but they've yet to come forward to collect their prize. That's a big problem because the prize expires on May 17.

In the lottery game, players select five numbers in the range of one to 48, and one "Lucky Ball" ranging from one to eight. The unnamed winner matched all the regular numbers, and was just a lucky ball away from $1,000 a day for the rest of their life.
If the person does come forward they can choose between the $25,000 a year or a lump sum payment of $390,000.
