Woman Allegedly Rips Off Store, Carjacks Vehicle: Natick Arrest
The woman allegedly shoplifted and then carjacked, resisted arrest and had to be tasered.

NATICK, MA—A Rhode Island woman is facing several charges after allegedly working with others to shoplift at the Natick Mall, took off on foot, jumped into a woman's moving car and tried to take control of it.
Rickchelle Olivieri, 27, Sylvan Street, Central Falls, RI, was arrested and charged with larceny over $100, assault and battery over 60, carjacking, unlawful theft protection shield device and conspiracy.
Loss prevention at Lord & Taylor called police to report that Olivieri had worked cohesively with two unidentified accomplices to shoplift $269 worth of merchandise. During a foot pursuit, Lord & Taylor ran onto Speen Street and jumped into the rear passenger side door of a grey Honda FIT. Olivieri forcibly pushed and struggle with the victim, who is 73, trying to take control of the car that was stopped at a traffic light.

Oliveiri resisted arrest and police had to use a taser on her. Lord & Taylor officers recovered two bags containing foil lining commonly used as a security deactivation device by shoplifters.
