5 Things You Need to Know: Yoga, Golf and Art--and More!
Five things you needed to know on Monday, June 24, 2013 for Needham and Wellesley.
1. While the day should be partially sunny, the National Weather Service tells us there could well be some storms --a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms, they say. Temperatures will peak at a warm 92ºF, and dip to 67ºF in the evening, which will otherwise be partly cloudy--unless there is a storm.
2. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Mass Day & Resident Camps begin today. At 9 a.m., girls will be heading to camp. See the event listing for more information.

3. Morses Pond reopened on Friday, so you may be able to sign up for the Yoga at Morses Pond classes offered by Cory Halaby. They run at Wellesley's Morses Pond Beach and Trail, starting at 9:30 a.m., and are $16. Contact cwhalaby@gmail.com for more information.
4. Needham Exchange Club is hosting a Charity Golf Tournament at the Blue Hills Country Club, located at 23 Pecunit St, Canton. It's a full 18-hole course, with prizes for individuals and for teams. Proceeds will benefit The Charles River Center, and tickets are $195.

5. If you think , then come to Waterstone (27 Washington St in Wellesley) and learn more about his work with art awareness group, Art Matters. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. Call 781-235-1614 to RSVP.
