Needham police arrested a female suspect at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital following an early morning altercation over the weekend.Around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers were called to the hospital to deal with a combative female patient who was causing trouble in the emergency room.After arriving at the hospital, officers learned an elderly worked had been assaulted. They arrested a 51-year-old woman from Franklin at the scene.The suspect was charged with assault and battery, assault and battery on elderly person, and assault and battery on a public employee.
