Dog Bite, Larceny: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

July 18

2:20 p.m. - An officer took a walk-in report of unauthorized access of a computer. The matter is under investigation.

9:47 p.m. - An officer responded to a Pine Grove Street address for a report of a person and dog that were bitten by another dog. The reporting party was sitting on their front steps with their dog. A dog being walked on a leash on the sidewalk pulled away from the owner and bit the reporting party and his dog, resulting in minor injuries. The matter was referred to Animal Control for follow up.

July 19

1:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a Great Plain Avenue address for a report of fraud. The victim reported that a company called and stated his electricity would be shut off if he didn't pay a certain dollar amount. The victim paid the money before realizing it was a scam.

July 21

10:30 a.m. - An officer responded to Defazio Park for a report of a past larceny. A suspect stole a wiper washer headlight cover. Nothing further at this time.

5:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a Great Plain Avenue address for a report of a past larceny from a locker. A juvenile was issued a summons for larceny.
