Harvest Time at the Needham Farmers Market this Sunday

NEEDHAM, MA - Come to see all that the Fall Harvest has to offer for your dinner table at the Needham Farmers Market! Apples, root vegetables, squash, corn on the cob and greens to fill up your plate as the chilly weather begins. Enjoy lunch from the Center Café and stroll to the music as you shop. Fun, friends, and food at the Needham Farmers Market this Sunday!

Vendors at the Needham Farmers Market this Sunday include MacArthur Farm, Neighborhood Farm, Boston Sword and Tuna, Deano’s Pasta, Terri’s Toffee Haus, and Barefoot Books.

Neighborhood Farm will have an assortment of apples and all of your favorites including new varieties of garlic, cherry, sungold, grape, sauce, and slicing tomatoes and sweet peppers. Also, leeks, several types of potatoes, hot peppers, eggplant, tomatillos, scallion, cucumbers, kale, lettuces, leafy greens, fresh garlic, onions, zucchini, summer squash, carrots, beets, and more!

Sweet, fresh picked corn on the cob is still on sale at the MacArthur Farm Tent.

MacArthur Farm will also return this week with eggplant, green and red peppers, Chioggia beets, and multi-colored carrots. Try some fresh, organic broccoli, cauliflower, wax and green beans, pickling cucumbers, radishes, greens, various types of lettuce, rhubarb, herbs, zucchini, cousa, summer squash, sugar snap and shell peas, carrots, scallions, golden and red beets and of course, sweet strawberries, various melons, local and Maine blueberries and Acres Honey. Now a favorite, MacArthur Farm is also offering delicious and fresh, baked the same day Framingham Baking Co. Italian and French bread and rolls that have no preservatives.
