Dedham's famous James Joyce Ramble returns on Sunday, April 26 to celebrate 32 years. Here's what you need to know.

Sunday, April 26, marks the return of Dedham’s annual James Joyce Ramble 10K, a footrace during which people read out loud from the Irish novelist’s books.

Below is information on the 2015 James Joyce Ramble 10K Road Race (click here to see the full course map).

Registration or pick-up is from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at the Endicott Estate

*If picking up for another party, bring an authorizing letter from them.*

Registrations and bib pick-ups on the day of the event are from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Endicott Estate.

Day of race registration is not available for the USATF Masters Championship.

*Runners must pre-register in person on Saturday, April 25 or online by Thursday, April 23.*

There will be a two-wave start with the runners participating in the USATF National Masters Championship, beginning three minutes in front of the main field of runners.

The street will be closed at 10 a.m. to everyone except for Ramble staff and USATF officials. Participants will not be allowed to access the start on the roadway except by using the side street and sidewalk.

The race itself begins promptly at 11 a.m. on East Street, one block south of the Endicott Estate at Boulevard Street.

Parking is available for early arrivals on the estate fairgrounds. On-street parking is available above Mount Vernon Street and near Dedham High School and Dedham Middle School.

Because of security issues, there will be no bag check-in. No unattended bags will be allowed.

For safety purposes, the use of headphones is strongly discouraged.
