A Bedford man is facing charges after police responded to a three-vehicle crash in Needham last Thursday.Jeffrey Smith, 55, was allegedly driving while on drugs when the crash took place, police said.Officers were called to Highland Avenue at the Newton line after three cars crashed around 1:20 p.m. No one was injured as a result of the incident.Police later determined Smith was operating his vehicle while impaired. He was arrested at the scene and charged with operating to endanger and operating under the influence of drugs.
