The Needham High School varsity football team knocked off Braintree 13-6 Friday night. In victory, the Rockets advanced to the championship round of the MIAA South Division 2 playoff bracket.The Rockets, one of the hottest teams in the state, upped their record to 7-2 on the season. The win marked their seventh consecutive win.Needham will next play on Friday, Nov. 13 against Marshfield on the road.Braintree was eliminated from the playoffs with the loss.
