Ariel Sherry, a junior and double major in psychology and religion at Colgate University, has a special passion for working with elders.
Her project, Age Together, which she created with the help of Colgate's Thought Into Action Entrepreneurship Institute, deals with the problem of isolation in elderly populations.
This is a major issue because as baby boomers age, a greater proportion of the community will be older adults. The information provided by Age Together aims to help communities make changes that promote positive aging and can make them more enticing places for people to live and grow old.

Thought into Action (TIA) is a Colgate University incubator for student ventures. Every year a select group of pioneering students prove what it really means to be an entrepreneur by taking an idea and making it 'go live'. In TIA, passionate students take their own ideas and move from theory to practice, while guided by invaluable mentorship of entrepreneurial alumni and parents.
