Marie B. Casey, 88, of Needham, formerly of Newton Centre, died Oct. 10, 2013.
She was daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Haley) Casey.
Marie was a graduate of the Academy of the Assumption, Class of 1943, Katharine Gibbs School, Class of 1944. She worked for Naval Intelligence during WW II. She is a retired manager for N.E. Telephone Company and a eucharistic minister at St. Bartholomew Church.
Marie leaves her nieces and nephews Brian F. Casey of San Diego, Calif., Nancy of Sudbury, Christopher P. Casey and his wife Joanne of Norwood, Susan M. (Casey) Paslaski and her husband Brian of Walpole and Gregory M. Casey of Needham; her great-nieces and nephews Alexandra, Shannon and Bradford Casey, Jackson and Tyler Paslaski; and her cousins including V. Clare Bowie of West Boylston. She was preceded in death by her brother Leo J. Casey and his surviving wife, Patt, of Quincy and the late Marylou Casey.
