• Needhamites Make History (needhamlocal.org) — Needham’s longtime town historian, Gloria Greis, has turned decades of research into a new book of more than 40 stories tracing how people and events shaped Needham from its 1711 split from Dedham onward. Drawing on newsletters, archives, and surprising discoveries—from forgotten militias to mysterious gravestones—she hopes residents will see their town’s streets, buildings, and even cemeteries as gateways into a richer shared history.
