Person Hit By Car, Missing Package: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

May 2
10:00 p.m. - An officer responded to the area of Greendale and Broadmeadow streets for a report of a stranded party. Contact was made with the party and a courtesy transport to police station was provided, where she arranged transportation home.
10:50 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to the area of Great Plain Avenue and Powder House Circle for a two-car crash. After subsequent investigation, 24-year-old Karen Bernardo of Brockton was, operating to endanger, and operating with a suspended license. A request for immediate threat was sought from the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.

May 3
6:00 p.m. - A resident from Robert Cook Drive came to the police station to report a missing package. The resident stated that a package was to be delivered to his home on Jan. 3 and she never received it. UPS was notified.

May 4
9:05 a.m. - An officer responded to a Chestnut Street business for a report of a disturbance. After speaking with all parties it was determined that there was no issue.
4:30 p.m. - A Westwood resident called the police station to report a crash which happened earlier that day. The caller reported that while she was driving on Chestnut Street at the intersection of Oak Street at about 9 a.m., she hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was knocked down, but uninjured. The pedestrian then continued on his way and made no attempt to exchange information with the operator of the car.
6:00 p.m. - An officer responded to the area of Highland Avenue at Hunting Road for the report of a two-car crash. After further investigation, it was determined that the driver at fault for the crash did not have a license. A 36-year-old man from Lynn was cited and issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving without registration in possession, and following too closely.
8:30 p.m. - An officer took a report of a past disturbance at a Kendrick Street recreation area. The reporting party stated that approximately an hour earlier they got into an altercation with a dog owner regarding the dog being off leash. The reporting party was advised to call police if another altercation took place. The incident is under investigation.
