Students Flee School, Theft: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

June 21
11:30 p.m. - An officer observed a vehicle exiting the construction site at Needham High School. It appeared as though they had violated the "No Trespassing" notice at the construction site. Upon further investigation, the vehicle had not entered the construction site and the operator was advised of the "No Trespassing" status.
12:20 p.m. - An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a blue Chevrolet for an inspection sticker violation at the intersection of Glendoon Road and Great Plain Avenue. The operator/owner, a 72-year-old Rhode Island women, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation and operating with revoked registration. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

A Boston resident reported his iPhone was stolen on May 21 while he was working at an A Street business.
A resident of Beaufort Avenue reported that they had given someone a check for work to be done. That person cashed the check, but did not do any of the work. Needham Police are investigating.

5:00 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Chambers Street address on a report of someone using a motor vehicle without authority. The reporting person stated that the vehicle involved was a Needham Housing Authority vehicle which had been moved a short distance, by an unauthorized resident. This matter is still under investigation
5:45 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Central Avenue address for a reported jewelry theft.
June 22
7:00 a.m. - Needham Police responded to the area of Walker School for three students that fled the school. One was immediately located by school staff and brought back. State Police and Dover Police assisted with locating and returning the other two juveniles..
12:35 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a 1st Avenue business for a reported missing license plate.
1:10 p.m. - An officer took a walk-in report of fraud. The reporting party stated that they payed for a pair of concert tickets after seeing an advertisement on craigslist. The matter is under investigation.
June 23
An Old Farm Road resident walked in to the station to report fraud on her accounts. The matter is under investigation.
June 24
An officer responded to a Wyoming Avenue residence for a report of fraud. The resident was advised to close the account.
