4. Great Jumpin' Juba! Or, rather, that's the band playing the Wellesley Summer Concert series this week. Mixing Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans style, the band will be playing tunes from their second album, "Slap Happy." Show starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

5. You are invited to the Great Plain Squares Summer Dance! Whatever your style, swing by First Parish in Needham on Saturday for a hot and sultry night (with air conditioning). For those in the know, the program is MS/Plus squares with alternating Rounds in 2+2 format. The cost is $7, and they welcome refreshment contributions.
