As fall starts, summer ends, and this weekend, Palettes in Natick is showing off a Summer's Bicycle--and they want your help painting it. The project at their Saturday Night Fun event this weekend. Joe Moakley field in Boston is hosting the Susan G Komen Mass. 21st Annual Race for the Cure. It starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday, and is a walk/run fundraiser supporting local breast health programs and funds promising research on the national level.
Walk, or run, to benefit the Walker School. This weekend--Sunday, starting at 9 a.m.--you can help raise money to support the therapeutic and academic programs at Walker. Registering for the Fun Run costs $35 per person, the 1-Mile Walk is $5 per person or $20 per family. You can register online at www.walkforwalker.org.
More than 60 different private schools are coming to Needham's Sheraton Hotel this weekend for the Private School Innovator forum. They are welcoming Dr. David Shim, a clinical psychologist and Boston University professor, and will be answering all the questions visitors may have about a private school education.
