Today in Needham: Secret Writing on Arms, Yard Sales and More
Five things you need to know for Needham and Wellesley on August 2.

1. After a bright week, there could be some showers--but mostly clouds. The National Weather Service says there will be cloudy skies, a 30 percent chance of showers, and a high of 82ºF. In the evening, temperatures will drop to 60ºF.
2. Post Your Yard Sale in the Needham Area, and we'll send the shoppers. If you're hosting a yard sale this weekend, don't forget to add it to our list--or else it won't show up in our map, which will run later today.
3. The Needham Library's Beneath the Ground Summer Film Festival continues today with the kids' classic "The Secret of NIMH." The story follows Mrs Brisby, a mouse hoping to save her family from the farmer's plow and master a mysterious amulet. They're showing the film at 2 p.m. in the Community room.
4. Get Plugged In, and help a good cause. To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit movement aimed at helping those dealing with addiction, depression, self-harm or suicide. Plugged In is holding a benefit concert for that cause Friday night, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for students, $10.00 for seniors, and $15.00 for adults.
5. Find out how like onions Ogres really are. Catch a performance of "Shrek The Musical", for those who have felt a little disconnected from the well-known Ogre. The show starts at 7 p.m., tickets run $17 for adults, $12 for kids under 12. Wellesley High School Auditorium, this Friday night at 7 p.m.
