Five things you need to know today for Needham and Wellesley on August 6, 2013.

1. Hot and sunny. A high of 80ºF, a low of 57ºF, and according to the National Weather Service, the day will be sunny and the evening partly cloudy.

3. Drop in for "dino digs" at the Needham Library. Starting at 10:30 a.m., the craft program is open to the first 50 visitors, so swing by early for your projects and the coloring sheet.
4. Need an excuse to grab some FroYo? From 5 to 9 p.m., the newly-opened Orange Leaf in Needham is running a fundraiser for the Needham Sharks swim team. They plan do to fundraisers regularly, and tonight 15 percent of your purchase goes to the swimmers.
5. Fans of Hemlock Gorge, picnics and classic rock may be intrigued to hear that the three great tastes, which taste great together, are coming together at 6 p.m. tonight.
