Tuesday, Oct. 22
6:52 p.m.: Police responded to the Needham Square area for a report of an erratic driver. The vehicle in question was located behind a Highland Avenue business and after a brief investigation the operator, a 30-year-old Natick male, will be summonsed to Dedham District Court for attaching motor vehicle plates and operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.

Wednesday, Oct. 23
8:53 a.m.: Police responded to the Broadmeadow School for reports of vandalism. Two different areas of the school were vandalized with graffiti over the past few days. There are no suspects.

9:41 a.m.: Police responded to Needham High School for a report of vandalism. A vehicle belonging to a student at the high school was scratched while parked in the upper lot of the high school on Oct. 22.
3:34 p.m.: Police responded to Unitarian Church, 23 Dedham Ave. for a report of a suspicious woman asking for money to buy baby formula. It was also reported that this woman opened and searched desk drawers in an office. Officers searched the area for the suspicious party but were unable to locate her. Nothing was reported missing from the building.
7:19 p.m.: Police responded to a Hillside Avenue residence for a report of a stolen purse. The victim said she had her purse stolen from her vehicle overnight. The vehicle was unlocked.
Thursday, Oct. 24
8:18 a.m.: Police reported to the Tedeschi’s parking lot for a two car accident. There were no injuries. Paperwork was exchanged between the two parties.
1:07 p.m.: Police observed a vehicle make a left turn from Chapel Street onto Great Plain Avenue where it’s posted no left turn. The officer effected a motor vehicle stop and the operator furnished him with an international driver’s license. A registry check revealed that the operator didn’t have a valid license. The 42-year-old Dedham man was issued a citation for an illegal left turn and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. A criminal complaint was sought for the aforementioned charges.
7 p.m.: A Newton resident came to the police station to report a hit and run accident, which occurred on Highland Avenue. The other operator was contacted and said the vehicles did not touch.
