Want to Join the Needham Parks and Recreation Commission?

Have a few hours a month you could give to the town's parks? There is a vacancy. 

The five-member Needham Parks and Recreation Commission has a vacancy, according to an announcement on the town website, for a term that starts in April 2014. They typically meet twice a month, and estimate a four to 10 hour time commitment.

The Parks and Recreation Commission recently held a well-attended meeting for residents to express their interest in Rosemary Pool and its future. That and trail improvements are the type of thing a future board member might work on.
